If you have a passion for cookery and want to know how a restaurant operates, this is the course for you. You will study in our industry standard training kitchens and develop your restaurant and cookery skills in the College’s restaurants, bars and cafes.
The course includes theory studies for cookery and food & drink service. You will be required to do some research in your own time. You will be assessed throughout the course and your final cookery assessment will be carried out with your tutor and a local chef.
The programme also includes studying maths and English towards GCSE grade A*-C (new grading system: 9-4) if you do not already have these grades.
