CITB Health and Safety Awareness Training

This 1 day course is for those wishing to gain access to construction sites, via a CSCS Green Labourer Card, in order to carry out any form of construction work.

Those wishing to obtain a CSCS Green Labourer Card are required to complete this training and the online CSCS Green Labourer Card touchscreen test.

CSCS cards provide proof that individuals working on construction sites have the required training and qualifications for the type of work they carry out.

In order to apply for a CSCS Green Labourer Card you will need to follow these four simple steps:

  1. Apply for this CITB Health and Safety Awareness course at Hugh Baird College
  2. Complete the CITB Health and Safety Awareness training at Hugh Baird College
  3. Attend and pass your pre-booked touchscreen test at the CSCS Test Centre in Liverpool City Centre
  4. Call CSCS on 0344 994 4777 and pay £30 by credit or debit card or by cheque to obtain your card

Port Academy Liverpool building, Hugh Baird College.


  • £120.00 + VAT for training only


  • £150.00 + VAT for training and test

Once you have passed the CITB Health and Safety Awareness test, you will pay £30 to CSCS for your card.
