They’re able to offer you Careers Education, Information, Advice and Guidance (CEIAG) any time you need it, whether you’re a member of the community, a current student or former student.

Gatsby Benchmarks

In January 2018 the Government released a set of careers guidance benchmarks to ensure high quality and aspirational careers advice and guidance was available to all students. The benchmarks outline the expected standards for a quality careers guidance:

  • A stable careers programme
  • Learning from career and labour market information
  • Addressing the needs of each pupil
  • Linking curriculum learning to careers
  • Encounters with employers and employees
  • Experiences of workplaces
  • Encounters with further and higher education
  • Personal guidance
