Our Balliol Road Campus houses our vocational subject areas, 14-16 College, apprenticeship and Business Development Centre and University Centre.
Our ultra modern multi-million pound facility the L20 Building, based on Stanley Road, houses a dedicated University Centre with open-plan study areas for students studying our University level courses. The development also includes a multi-purpose performance arts space for public events - ranging from school productions to conferences, a public library, learning resource centre and a café with an outdoor seating area.
Our state-of-the-art Lifestyle Fitness gym provides you with facilities and activities to keep you fit. As a full time student, you can use these facilities for a special reduced rate. Sports students will also utilise these facilities for a special rate during their course.
These outlets are run by our L20 Hotel School hospitality students and the restaurant team. Menus are planned to maximise the students’ learning experience and prepare them for employment in the industry. Menus vary from simple food presented in a contemporary style in The Restaurant, to grab and go options in the Cafes
Our refurbished studios have the latest industry standard equipment ranging from music mixing to retail display areas.
The College has newly refurbished refectories and cafes in each of its main buildings, providing cost effective refreshments and meals. With comfortable seating and internet cafe areas, the refectories are great places to relax with friends.
We have three Learning Resource Centres, which have books, trade magazines, DVDs and electronic resources to help you with your course. With dedicated study areas, complete with computers, you can do coursework, research and assignments in a peaceful environment.
Our hairdressing and beauty studios provide a range of treatments and are open to both students and the general public. The hairdressing, barbering, beauty salons and nail studios are equipped to the highest standard.
The store is open to the general public and students and is located on the Stanley Road side of the Balliol building. Our staff include some of the most highly qualified and experienced florists in the country and our prices are very competitive.

Our multi-million pound South Sefton Campus houses our Sixth Form Centre, where we offer a wide choice of A-levels. It is located on Sterrix Lane in Litherland.
Opened in 2009, our state-of-the-art Sixth Form Centre was designed to enhance the sixth form learning experience and enable students to succeed. Broadway Malayan (the international architects behind Mann Island, Liverpool) worked with students to plan the college environment which adds a stylish architectural feature to the skyline of South Sefton.
Thornton College is a specialist centre dedicated to providing a caring and supportive environment for young people with learning difficulties and/or physical disabilities in the Liverpool City Region.
Thornton College has multimedia facilities, a horticulture room, kitchen and even a small apartment which will help students learn how to live as independently as possible. The canteen and cafe area are attractive and spacious and also provide drama and performance space. The extensive grounds include an allotment area and sports facilities.
