Floristry

Floristry

Floristry is a highly creative area that offers you the opportunity to develop your own unique flair and style that could lead to a highly successful career.

When studying on a Floristry course, you will have the opportunity to develop the skills that you will need to be able to compete on a commercial basis, starting with making basic floral designs and moving through to the planning, preparation and costing of floral designs for large events.

Alongside the design aspect is the opportunity to learn the processes of inspecting new stock, displaying floristry goods effectively and negotiating costs when buying and planning for events. The courses are highly practical and students will have the chance to discover more about the industry through industrial placement and in our own retail outlet, L20 Flowers.
