Learning for Life

Learning for Life

Learning for Life courses allow young adults with learning difficulties and/or disabilities the opportunity to recognise and develop the skills and abilities they have so they can achieve their life and employment aspirations.

We offer a range of full time courses from Entry Level upwards for students with learning difficulties and/or disabilities.

Our students follow timetables that have been designed specifically to suit the individual’s level of ability and areas of interest. The programmes are intended to develop both independent living and employment related skills, in a wide range of vocational and academic subjects.

Support is made available to enable equal access to our courses by students who have learning difficulties and/or disabilities. Specialist staff support these courses. They are able to assess individual needs and advise on matters concerning the welfare, education and social development of our students.

All courses include studying maths and English, managing money, reading for work and pleasure and developing writing skills.
