National Apprenticeship Week 2017

We’re supporting National Apprenticeship Week 2017!

From Monday 6th to Friday 10th March, we’ll be celebrating all things apprenticeship and highlighting how you can get in and go far.

Over the course of the week, staff at the Hugh Baird Business Development Centre will be manning the phones and will be able to answer any questions you might have. The number to call is 0151 353 4444.

Get to know about Apprenticeship Tutorials

Students across all Hugh Baird College’s provision will take part in Apprenticeship themed tutorials.

School Information Sessions and Tours

Pupils from a range of local high schools will be finding out more about what an Apprenticeship means and will view the outstanding college facilities they could train in.

Apprentice Challenge!

Apprentices from across the Liverpool City Region will take part in a range of challenges linked to their programme of study. What this space for the results!
Monday - Wednesday, 9am - 1pm

Get hired! (Construction, Motor Vehicle and Engineering students)

Staff from our Apprenticeship team will be interviewing college students from construction trades and engineering related courses and matching them to apprenticeship openings from across the Liverpool City Region.

Pampered by Apprentices

Hair and Beauty apprentices from across the Liverpool City Region will be treating the clients of MerseyCare to beauty treatments.
Wednesday

Traineeship Celebration of Achievement Evening

Past traineeship students who have since moved on to apprenticeship training or higher level study will be joined by employers and parents at a celebration of achievement event at the L20 Restaurant.
Thursday and Friday

Get Hired! (Hairdressing, Beauty and Media Make Up students)

Staff from our Apprenticeship team will be interviewing college students from hairdressing, beauty and media make up related courses and matching them to apprenticeship openings from across the Liverpool City Region.

National Apprenticeship Week is co-ordinated by the National Apprenticeship Service and is designed to celebrate apprenticeships and the positive impact they have on individuals, businesses and the wider economy.
