+ Student & Staff

Our School Liaison activities are all aimed at helping young people find the best course at the most suitable level. Our learners can join us on entry level courses and could potentially leave us with a full BA Honours degree, so making the right choices early on is important.

We pride ourselves on the range of courses we offer and the way in which they are taught. Many of our vocational courses offer the chance to attend a work experience placement or work in one of our real life working environments such as the brand new L20 Restaurant, L20 Flowers or L20 The Salon. All these outlets are open to the public and provide invaluable working experience for many of our students.

Our new Port Academy Liverpool and Hospitality and Visitor Economy Career College place Hugh Baird College at the forefront of education around the growing and emerging economies in our area. Find out more here.

Studying at Hugh Baird College arms students with the skills and experience they need to go out there and peruse their dream career.

We know how important it is to try things out before making a big decision. You wouldn’t buy a car without test driving it, so why should pupils apply before they know what College is really about? For this reason, we encourage you to spend some time with us planning a package which will help your pupils make the right choices.

Pupils can try out our courses, take a tour of the College, book a guidance interview with one of our support staff or take part in some of our exciting events. Take a look at our Taster Activities or download or order our School Liaison brochure and let the young people choose for themselves!
