I am a proportional lecturer on the Degree Programme in Photography teaching one day per week. For the last twenty years I have worked in partnership, with another photographer, running a freelance photography company. It has become a highly respected, successful business with a wide range of national and international clients. Ranging from small businesses to advertising agencies, government departments to charitable organisations. An approved supplier for many companies including: The National Trust, Volkswagen/Bentley, Moorfields Group PLC, Downing Developments, The Canal River Trust and Welsh Tourism. I pride myself on providing clients with creative photography of the best possible standard within the constraints of deadlines and budgets.
I am also involved with my own art practice and continue to work on personal projects, exhibiting and publishing widely and closer to home by being involved in Liverpool Look Festivals, The Independents Biennial and Liverpool Art Prize. Currently working with Open Eye Gallery Liverpool as part of their ‘Culture Shifts: Local’ projects and continuing with a long term McCoy Wynne collaboration ‘Triangulation’ recently shown as part as Northern Eye Festival. I bring to the students my expertise, knowledge and experience as a successful, practicing, professional photographer working within a very competitive industry.
