Scholarship Programmes
We have teamed up with three of our industry partners to offer our students a career kick-starting scholarship.
We currently offer these Scholarships in conjunction with our industry partners, and they are open to our Level 2 and Level 3 students.
These Scholarship Programmes have been designed to help to set you up for your future career and give you a taste of an exciting sector of our local and national economy.
All our Scholarships give you the chance to:
- Undertake an industry placement*
- Have one to one support from a professional mentor
- A guaranteed interview at the end of the Programme
- Have a great addition to your CV/UCAS application
* Length and timings of the Scholarship placement will vary depending on the demands of the course you are studying and the business needs of the company.
Our Scholarship Partners
Our three Partners are Peel Ports, Denholm Logistics Group and Cadent. Each of these companies offer interesting and diverse job roles in growing industries.
Peel Ports Liverpool are located at the Port of Liverpool, a stone’s throw away from our Balliol Road Campus. The logistics and supply chain sector is an area of vast employment growth in the area, especially as the Liverpool City Region has been granted Freeport status. This development will generate thousands of jobs in the years to come.
Denholm operate logistics services across the globe to small independent companies, through to large blue chip organisations, providing a range of services to meet a diverse range of business needs. They operate sea and air freight services, as well as handling UK exports. Careers with the company are varied and span the full supply chain.
Cadent are the nation’s largest owner and operator of gas distribution networks, bringing gas to 11 million homes across England. They also manage the National Gas Emergency Service on behalf of the gas industry. They employ over 6,000 people and so career opportunities with them are diverse and exciting.
