The City & Guilds Level 1 Award in Parametric Modelling gives you a hands-on introduction to Computer Aided Design (CAD), teaching you to build 3D models from scratch while developing a solid understanding of the software, hardware and safe working practices behind professional design environments.
It's an ideal starting point if you're exploring a career in engineering, manufacturing or design, giving you a nationally recognised qualification and the foundational skills employers in these sectors are actively looking for.
- CAD workstation hardware and software
- Health and safety and safe computer use
- Parametric modelling interface features
- Creating sketches and geometry
- Using constraints and dimensions
- Producing extruded and revolved features
- Creating assemblies
- Producing drawing layouts and outputs
City & Guilds Level 1 Award in Parametric Modelling
