Course Details
Introduction to Maths is a basic maths course aimed at those returning to education to support you to build confidence around functional maths topics.
Learners will be supported at college across 12 weeks and will sit one assessment at the end of the course.
Learners who complete the course can progress into Level 1 and Level 2 Functional Skills Maths.

This qualification is a stepping stone for Level 1 and Level 2 maths, the course is designed to progress into one of our longer functional skills classes on completion. The introduction to maths course is designed to build confidence around basic maths topics which will give you a foundation to progress onto further studies.
Maths Functional Skills is widely required by employers and can also open doors to further and higher education courses.
