As per the college’s Terms and Conditions, courses will only run subject to a sufficient number of students being recruited.
Spaces on courses are offered (subject to suitability and qualification evidence) on a first come first served basis.
On occasion, the college may choose to combine groups in order to ensure a course is viable to run.
The college reserves the right to change, amend, modify, suspend or cancel courses at any time without notice.
In the unlikely event that a course is cancelled, we will do our best to find you a place on a similar course.
In the event of your course being oversubscribed, you may be asked to join a waiting list.
Access to student finance support fund is on a first come first served basis. For the best chance to access funds, you should complete and submit the application during enrolment. Speak to a member of staff at the enrolment events for more information.
If you are under 19 and studying at Hugh Baird College, you won’t just enrol onto a course you will enrol onto a Study Programme. Your study Programme will be individualised dependent upon previous qualifications and subject course applied for. All Study Programmes include a qualification in the subject area applied for; English and maths GCSE if a grade 4 (old grading system: C) has not already been attained, personal development sessions, enrichment and employability training and external work experience. All elements of the study programme are compulsory.
